Bringing Texas BBQ to Irish Retail
New brand and packaging for Smokin Bones pulled pork brioche buns - barbecue pit-master flavour, ready at home in minutes.

I’ve just wrapped up a fantastic project with the team at Smokin Bones, true barbecue pit masters who run a much-loved restaurant in Dublin. Their pulled pork, cooked low and slow in true Southern Texas style, has now made its way into retail - served in a soft brioche bun, ready in minutes for busy people who want that authentic barbecue experience at home.
Working through the Bord Bia FoodWorks programme, I developed a refreshed brand and packaging that draws on the roots of American pit-master culture, using bold typography and a strong graphic look to capture that smoky, soulful feel.
The product is now on shelves across Ireland and I’m looking forward to developing more flavours with the team at Smoking Bones. Trust me: it’s as tasty as it looks.
