Project Description

From idea to reality

ViperClip began with one electrician's simple frustration: why wasn’t there a cable clip that could be fired from a gun instead of hammered in one by one? That idea became a unique invention - and eventually, a new business.

A strong and distinctive brand was essential in this sector. I worked closely with the founders to create a bold identity and colour system designed to stand out both on retail shelves and on-site in use. We wanted to own bright green and blue - colours that became core to the brand’s recognition and visibility. A direct, no-nonsense tone of voice that spoke straight to tradespeople was introduced: clear, confident, and practical, just like the product itself.

From on-product branding and colour palette through to packaging, website, and digital marketing, every element was built to be flexible, practical, and unmistakably ViperClip.

The brand has gone from strength to strength - appearing on Dragon’s Den to secure investment - and it’s been rewarding to support the founders on their journey from idea to reality.

Gregg "hit the nail on the head" in understanding our business and how to represent that best from a design perspective. We're constantly complimented on our design - right from the brand to the packaging boxes and everything in-between. Great work and a delight to work with.
